Bubba Nunnery and Hannah Zimmerman join ZoomInfo’s privacy team

ZoomInfo, provider of intelligence solutions, announced the expansion of its privacy team with Bubba Nunnery as Senior Director of Privacy and Public Policy. The privacy team is tasked with delivering one of ZoomInfo’s core missions: providing transparency about how it collects its professional contact data and upholding consumers’ rights to privacy. 

In his new role, Nunnery, CIPP,  monitors the status of legislation and regulations at the state, federal, and international levels and analyzes their potential impact on ZoomInfo’s business and its customers, maintains relationships with advocacy groups and key legislative offices, and builds brand programs that elevate ZoomInfo as a privacy-first technology platform.

Prior to joining ZoomInfo, Nunnery was the national political director for America Votes, where he coordinated programs run by more than 40 national, issue-focused organizations. He has also managed, consulted on, and built strategic campaigns for state parties, environmental organizations, labor unions, and local and national candidates across the country. He received a B.A. in sociology and criminal justice from the University of Northern Colorado and M.S.W. from California State University, Long Beach.

As customers navigate complex privacy regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), ZoomInfo exceeds standards in data compliance. With expertise from new team members Hannah Zimmerman, ZoomInfo’s Privacy Counsel, and Nunnery, ZoomInfo provides legal and regulatory resources throughout its platform to help customers understand and comply with the latest requirements as guidelines evolve.

Zimmerman, COPP?US and CIPT-certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals, is responsible for overseeing ZoomInfo’s compliance with global privacy laws. she works with ZoomInfo’s privacy team to develop and implement privacy standards, procedures, and processes across the organization, and counsels and educates business units on privacy compliance. Prior to joining ZoomInfo, Hannah worked as an attorney for a boutique privacy and information governance law firm, where she advised multinational corporate clients on compliance with global data protection and privacy laws, and guided clients’ development and implementation of data protection and privacy solutions.

She graduated cum laude from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Business Administration, and received her J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law and is a frequent speaker on privacy and compliance topics.
