Nextgov and Government Executive’s BOLD Gov showcases excellence in government—and nominations are open.
Big challenges require bold action, and Government Executive and Nextgov are looking for the boldest projects in government.
Whether it’s the pandemic, climate change, a rash of cybersecurity incidents or the myriad of other issues facing our country, federal employees have been called upon to step up with solutions to help their fellow citizens.
But being bold in government takes more than just an idea. Oftentimes, a lot more.
For this year’s BOLD Gov presentations, we’re looking for the most interesting, most challenging, most game-changing programs in the federal government. The projects don’t have to be big or splashy, but should showcase what public servants can do to solve problems in the face of adversity.
Rather than an awards show, BOLD Gov is an effort to showcase excellence in government from the perspective of those on the ground doing the work. Nominations come from our readers, either fellow government employees or contractors working directly with programs.
Past events have included presentations from National Defense University, the Office of Management and Budget, USAID, National Park Service, 18F, General Services Administration, the Agriculture Department and many more.
Nominate yourself or another for this year’s BOLD program and help others in government learn from bold examples.
Nominations are open now through Oct. 20.
